This boy was rescued from the home where he was abandoned when his owner was evicted. The home that Sir Edmund was rescued from was not responsible, despite several attempted interventions to educate his owner prior to their eviction. He has done really well since he has been in foster care and is talkative and flirty with his foster mom.
Sir Edmund would be perfect for a cat saavy home that understands he may be shy at first as he bonds, although he has done well when strangers come into tell him hello. We have posted a video of Sir Edmund flirting with a visitor that he had never met. Therefore, once he is comfortable in his home, he will likely be secure with others.
We are looking for responsible homes that understand the necessity of keeping a cat indoors for their own safety. Because Sir Edmund is quite the explorer, the only exception to an indoor home that we would make is a home in a rural area where he and/or his brother would be kept safely inside a secured barn or other such structure.
The suggested donation for Sir Edmund's adoption is $50, however, we will place him at NO adoption fee in a home that has a current excellent vet reference!
Birthday:August 7, 2008
Sir Edmund is vaccinated, vetted, and neutered. He has tested negative for FIV/Feleuk.
